I teach so that all my students will develop a firm foundation in sound and technique. Once this is established, I begin branching out to etudes, solo studies, jazz and/or orchestra depending upon the student’s interests in combination with my guidance. Additional materials: One of the most important parts of a brass player’s day is the warm-up. This is the time when he/she should practice the fundamentals of playing.
